Corn Maze

So blogging has generally alluded us this summer, as have most internet based activities.  But it’s 1:30 in the morning, I can’t sleep, and I figure, what else am I going to do? I finished season 2 of the Office on dvd tonight and they were out of season 3 at Blockbuster. I have been trying to get into this novel for the last month to no avail, and I’m pretty tired of just letting my mind wander round in circles with the ceiling fan, so blogging it is.

This weekend we took the girls to a local corn maze that is set up for the fall.  It was pretty elaborate.  They had actually made paths through the corn that looked like a tree, a large daisy, and an owl.  We technically walked through the daisy and part of the tree, but Jaime was fully convinced that we were lost inside of the owl the entire time.  Paige was our fearless leader as always, and Jaime repeatedly pointed out the picture of the owl on her map to remind us that we were lost and might never get out of the owl.  It was good fun all around.  Our full time life documenter and photographer (kenny) tagged along (darn paparazi) and left us with evidence to prove that we do actually do things. : ) Here are a couple pics.
